Trading tournaments in Belarus

Belarus is SKIPPED in v1. Density is very low to begin with — BCSE (Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange) is institutional only, no retail competitions surfaced. HTP (Park of High Technology) hosts crypto businesses with regulatory carve-outs since 2017 but the active HTP-resident crypto venues (Bynex / Currency.com / WhiteBIRD / Dzengi / FreeBuyCrypto) have **no tournament product** and all face the EU 20th sanctions package jurisdictional ban effective May 24, 2026. Bynex was Polish-sanctioned Oct 31, 2025 + OFAC-designated alongside 60 BY+RU entities in 2025 (the first Belarusian crypto exchange designated). Belarus has been under EU/UK/US sanctions since 2020 (Lukashenko regime) with post-Feb 2022 escalation; many BY banks are SDN-designated. FTMO and major global props ban Belarusian residents post-2022.

Regulation

National Bank of Belarus (NBRB) regulates banking. The Park of High Technology (PVT/HTP) special economic zone has hosted crypto-asset businesses since 2017 with regulatory carve-outs, but EU 20th sanctions package (effective May 24, 2026) imposes a jurisdictional ban on ALL Belarus CASPs. Currency.com paused operations in 2022, restored 2024 but remains under sanctions exposure. Same OFAC + EU + UK sanctions posture as Russia applies — affiliation risk, payment-processor refusal, and brand-risk all apply to listing BY-domiciled entities.
