Why country matters
Trading tournament eligibility is a country problem before it is a product problem. Bybit and OKX block US residents entirely; FTMO accepts most of the world; the U.S. Investing Championship only takes US-audited broker statements; Bybit’s WSOT excludes several jurisdictions each edition. Picking a tournament without checking your country is the fastest way to waste an entry fee.
Each country page above covers: which regulators oversee capital markets and crypto (SEC, CFTC, FCA, MAS, BaFin, SEBI, ASF, and 40+ more), which platforms accept residents, which are blocked, common tax treatment where relevant, and the FAQ questions traders in that country actually ask about tournaments. Written to the same depth as our editorial articles, not scraped from operators’ T&C pages.
