Should I enter the biggest trading tournament or a smaller one?
Bigger pool = bigger field = lower individual placement odds. Smaller, well-curated events have better odds-adjusted EV for most traders. Career-building is also a factor: a top-10 finish in a 200-trader prop firm challenge with public payout is more useful than top-500 in a 50,000-trader crypto exchange tournament with no record. Match the format to your career stage.
How are 'featured' tournaments selected?
Featured tournaments are admin-curated — events we believe represent the best risk/reward for traders entering right now. Selection criteria: verified prize pool, sane rules (no excessive volume requirements masking prize claw-backs), reasonable participant cap, history of payouts (for repeat platforms). Featured tournaments appear with a highlight in the cards. Affiliate revenue does NOT influence featuring — we earn from every event regardless.
Are these the best trading tournaments worldwide?
Yes — we don't restrict by geography on this list. The trade-off is eligibility: a great event for US residents may not be available to EU residents and vice versa. How often is the best-tournaments list updated?
Daily. The featured flag is admin-managed; the cash-prize filter is automatic. New tournament announcements arrive continuously from our 64+ platform ingestion pipeline; admin review approves entries before they appear on /tournaments/best. Typical lag from announcement to appearance: 4-24 hours.
