Trading tournaments in Russia
Russia is SKIPPED in v1 entirely. Density is paradoxically very high (MOEX LCH 22+ year flagship runs Mar 17 – Dec 17 2026 with ~140M RUB / ~$1.7M USD total prize pool across a new 3-league structure at `investor.finuslugi.ru`; T-Bank ran 300+ monthly tournaments since 2022 with 350M RUB cumulative; 12+ retail brokers; massive Russian-language Telegram ecosystem) — **but every load-bearing entity is OFAC SDN or SDN-affiliated**. MOEX + NCC + NSD were OFAC-designated June 12, 2024 (general licenses 99/100 expired Aug 13, 2024). Garantex defunct March 2025 (US DOJ + Europol seizure + Tether $28M USDT freeze). Grinex (Garantex successor) OFAC-designated post-takedown. Bitzlato defunct since Jan 2023 (FinCEN money-laundering concern + DOJ indictment). T-Bank / Sberbank / VTB / Alfa-Bank / Otkrytie all SDN-designated since 2022. EU 20th sanctions package effective May 24, 2026: jurisdictional ban on ALL Russia + Belarus CASPs and prohibits RUBx, A7A5, digital ruble. FTMO and most major global prop firms ban Russian residents post-2022.

Regulation
OFAC + EU + UK sanctions create primary and secondary exposure risks for any platform listing Russia-domiciled trading competitions. Affiliating with Russian exchanges or brokers from a US/EU-incorporated entity is prohibited; payment processors will not service Russia-platform affiliate flows. Russian retail trader access to global exchanges and prop firms has been severely restricted since Feb 2022 — most global props (FTMO, FundedNext, Topstep) explicitly ban Russian residents. International card processors blocked from RU; SWIFT restricted for sanctioned banks; CIPS/NSPK/Mir card system are the domestic replacements but don't bridge international payouts.

All Russia-domiciled exchanges and brokers (MOEX-listed brokers + T-Bank + Sberbank + VTB + BCS + Finam + Otkrytie + Alfa-Investment) NOT LISTED on trading-tournaments.com per sanctions disclaimer. Garantex / Grinex / Bitzlato defunct. MOEX LCH (Лучший Частный Инвестор) is the canonical Russian flagship but unlistable for the same reason.
