Details
Derive is running the XAUT Trading Competition through August 2026, rewarding the traders who post the best returns on Tether Gold (XAUT) options.
Trade XAUT options on Derive between 1 and 31 August 2026. To qualify, a trade must pay or receive at least $100 in option premium. Close the position or let it settle, then generate and share your official Derive PNL card.
Ranking is by realized PNL percentage. Only closed or settled positions count toward the leaderboard; open positions and unrealized gains are not eligible.
The top three traders each win an 8-gram pure gold Derive plate plus $500 in DRV.
Genuine market activity only. Wash trading, self-trading, coordinated activity, ranking manipulation, and altered PNL cards are prohibited, and Derive verifies every trade against its records and onchain data.

Yes — there is no entry fee. You only need an account on Derive and to register inside the event.
When does XAUT Trading Competition start and end?
Trading runs from 2026-07-31 through 2026-08-30 (UTC) — 30 days. Registration is open until the trading window starts.
Do I need KYC to join XAUT Trading Competition?
Derive does not require tournament-specific KYC for this event. Standard exchange-wide verification rules still apply for withdrawal of any prize you win.
How is the prize pool distributed?
Total prize pool: $8,000. Prize structure is published by Derive on the official tournament page — see Join tournament for the live ladder.
