The creator sits inside the Japanese FIRE / セミリタイア (semi-retirement) YouTube cluster, a genre that has grown sharply since 2020 as Japanese investors trade information about US stocks, crypto, dividend strategies and lifestyle downshifting. The handle itself is the brand: a long-form self-deprecating job-title that signals "ex-corporate-grunt with a complicated education history aiming for FIRE." His own bio confirms the core narrative directly: a self-described despairing 39-year-old salaryman who failed university entrance exams twice, repeated four years before finally graduating, then dropped out, and is now documenting putting his entire net worth into Bitcoin as his path out.

Public footprint is concentrated on the X account @24chu_dog (740 followers, joined February 2022) and the YouTube channel @24ch, which has surpassed 150,000 subscribers per his own account. He also posts on TikTok as @24chu.syachiku.dog. His career history, per his own X bio, runs from university dropout to karaoke shop manager to educational-materials route sales, before landing in his current "shachiku" (corporate slave) office job. Content is fully Japanese-language, posting Fridays and Saturdays, and he explicitly discloses that some parts of the channel are fictionalized for editing and entertainment purposes.
