Ade (channel handle adetorrent) is one of the more durable English-speaking creators in the Web3-native publishing stack, spanning Hive, Steemit, Blurt, DTube and PeakD, where he has built a multi-year footprint posting as a "crypto enthusiast" from the UK. The YouTube channel, registered in July 2011 and now at 20.1K subscribers with over 1,200 videos and 3.27M total views, is part of a multi-platform cross-posting strategy rather than a YouTube-first brand, which is uncommon in 2026 and signals genuine alignment with decentralised publishing rather than pure hype maximisation.

Content historically covers XRP commentary, NFTs and metaverse projects, broader blockchain education, and occasional travel/lifestyle posts. His current output leans heavily on XRP news and UK-specific crypto tax content (HMRC rules, capital gains on crypto), a niche few UK creators cover in this much depth. There is a non-trivial older footprint tied to coverage of Nigerian politics (pre-pivot, on the same handle), confirmed by a 2015 podcast appearance, and a long online history, even if a current full real name is not confirmed.
