Brandon Frenchak ran the 2024 USIC $20K–$1M Enhanced Growth Division wire-to-wire: +183.1% Q1, +119.8% at the six-month, +142% nine-month, +482.6% on the December close. What the leaderboard didn't say: the gains came not from equities but from Bitcoin trusts and leveraged ETFs held inside a Health Savings Account — a triple-tax-benefit vehicle most traders don't consider a trading account at all. Frenchak uses Bitcoin's four-year cycle to time concentrated positions, with the HSA structure eliminating the tax drag that would otherwise compress returns.

The data-engineering day job is not incidental to the method. Frenchak owns Frenchak Consulting LLC, an IFS ERP firm serving industrial clients near Houston, Texas — the same quantitative rigor he applies to enterprise data architecture goes into timing entries on the four-year halving cycle. Three of the four 2024 EG-division podium names were data or engineering operators by profession, which is structurally consistent with a division that rewards systematic, model-driven sizing over discretionary stock-picking.
