CoinTracking is one of the longest-running tools in crypto, founded in 2012 in Munich by Dario Kachel and operated by CoinTracking GmbH. Positioned as a leading crypto portfolio tracker and tax-reporting platform, it is used by more than 2.2 million traders as well as around 25,000 tax professionals and corporate clients. The service supports 150+ exchanges and 400+ blockchains, connects through read-only API keys, and generates real-time profit-and-loss, holdings and tax reports across more than 100 countries.

Its media presence is a corporate one: the flagship English YouTube channel (@CoinTracking) is complemented by a German-language sister channel (@CoinTracking_DACH) and an active Instagram, with content focused on the product, importing trades, tax-jurisdiction explainers, feature walk-throughs and occasional expert and founder interviews. It reflects the brand rather than a single personal voice, sitting at the intersection of active trading and tax-season compliance.
