The CryptoDad is hosted by Rex Kneisley, an English-language crypto educator who has spent years, since 2017, building a channel around self-custody and security rather than trading. The identity is deliberately anti-hype: the explicit positioning is on protecting digital assets through hardware wallets, cold storage and operational security, with a tutorial-heavy format aimed at people graduating from exchange accounts to owning their own keys. His tagline, "Make Crypto Easy," captures the mission of real-world crypto use without price predictions or "moon" talk.

Output spans long-form hardware-wallet setup videos (Ledger, Trezor, Tangem), scam- and phishing-awareness content, security tips and crypto-tools walkthroughs, including practical topics like spending crypto in the real world. The persona is exactly what the name suggests: a friendly, parent-figure educator who treats the audience as if they are one phishing email away from losing meaningful money. He is unusually reachable, offering free help by email alongside optional paid one-on-one support, and is active across X (@The_CryptoDad), Instagram and Reddit.
