Daniele Ledda's 2024 ITCup audit closed at +551.37%. The starting capital was €2,000 of his own money, the ending balance €13,027.35, and the trading window was the six-to-eight weeks the Italian championship's XXVII edition runs each autumn. The return is one of the largest single-year results in ITCup's twenty-seven-edition history — only Achille Capecce's late-1990s wins and Francesco Silvestri's 2016 run sit cleanly above it. Two years earlier he had taken the same title for the first time with a ~67% run in 2022, making him the rare modern back-to-back-class champion of the same Italian real-money contest.

He came to trading during the late-1990s dot-com era, took a Political Science degree from the University of Florence, and has built a public profile that's unusually quiet for a two-time champion — married, five children, based in Torre del Greco on the Naples coast, no creator-trader brand, no YouTube channel, no X persona. The discipline is Italian retail equity stock-picking — mid, small, and micro-caps from the Borsa Italiana, single-name selection rather than systematic. The 2024 mid-edition update on the ITCup Facebook channel noted he was already +102.77% before pushing to the final +551%, which suggests the run wasn't a single late breakout but a compounding selection edge.

The reason the bio isn't longer is the reason the championship matters: Ledda is one of a handful of Italian retail traders whose results are real-money-audited, who hasn't built a content business around the wins, and who comes back to defend. Outreach realistic only via the ITCup organisers at Borsa&Finanza — there's no DM channel under a verified handle.
