Elliot Wainman, known as "EllioTrades," is an American crypto creator based in Los Angeles who sits at the intersection of commentary and building. After earning a BA in history and public policy from UC Santa Barbara, he launched the EllioTrades YouTube channel in 2018, growing it past 635,000 subscribers with high-conviction coverage of altcoins, DeFi and NFTs, and a following of over 700,000 on X.
Unlike pure commentators, Wainman crossed into building: in 2020 he co-founded SuperFarm, a cross-chain DeFi and NFT platform, serving as CEO, and later co-created the Neo Tokyo NFT project alongside Alex Becker.
