Moshin (もーしん) is a Japanese crypto creator whose backstory has been written up in Japanese media. He focused on sports as a teenager, failed his university entrance exams, went through a period of life difficulty including gambling, and started day trading after getting married. He stabilized his returns within about three months, reportedly accumulated paper gains of 100 million yen during the 2021 cycle, failed to realize them, then re-tooled his strategy in 2022 and returned to "millionaire" status by 2024. That arc, recovery and methodical rebuilding rather than overnight success, is central to how he markets the brand.

His YouTube channel, "Moshin / ビットコイン" (@MoshinChannel), was registered in December 2012 and has 150,000 subscribers, 2,488 videos and over 49 million total views, publishing almost daily with a mix of macro-economy and Web3 context alongside technical analysis on roughly five cryptocurrencies per video.
