He started his first YouTube channel at 13, posting gaming and IRL content from Japan; by the time he had hit a combined audience north of 400,000 subscribers across two channels, he was already pivoting to forex at 17, then bitcoin at 18, then dropping out of the University of Toronto to trade crypto full-time. He calls himself the "24-year-old billion-yen trader" — Japanese internet slang for the retail caste that crossed ¥100M net worth — and the brand sits on top of a real arc: ¥100M at 20 during the 2021 bubble, a public drawdown of roughly ¥300M on bitcoin at 23, then rebuilding through a CMO role at launchpad project Tenset and a daily X / YouTube cadence.

The Bybit WSOT 2023 win is the marquee credential — Bybit confirmed him as Top Captain (Japan) in their own announcement of the 2024 livestream — and the same year he took Bitget's Global Trading Competition for Japan. The visible method is mixed: technical analysis on majors, crowd-psychology framing, macro overlay, and a willingness to post live entries in real time. The August 2024 call most-cited inside his audience was a clean short of bitcoin from around $70K to $50K, with the trade unfolding live and roughly $300K of public profit booked on the way down.

He runs the brand bilingually — Japanese surfaces at @mrkenbitcoin on X and his Japanese YouTube channel; English surfaces at @mrkencrypto on X and a dedicated English YouTube channel. He's based in Bangkok on a Thai Elite Visa, which makes him geographically the rare "Japan-market KOL" who isn't in Japan. His own X bio is the brand in five characters: 24歳億トレーダー.
