🇧🇷Brazil· Juiz de Fora

Competitions exist to show you what you are building — not what you have already built.

Nanda Ferçal trades one market — Brazil's mini-índice — and she trades it with intention. Based in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, she entered Copa BTG Trader 2025 not as a first attempt but as someone who has competed before, someone who treats competition as a way to measure what she is building rather than to announce what she has already built.

The range of what she is building is wider than it first appears. Outside the charts, she runs a micropigmentation aesthetics business and is actively developing her own trading robots. She studies AI not as a passing interest but as infrastructure — something to integrate into the system, not layer on top of it. The combination of discretionary trading on mini-índice and algorithmic development is deliberate: she wants to understand both sides before committing to either.

Copa BTG Trader 2025 was one data point on a longer curve. The work continues.

What market do you focus on mainly — mini-index, mini-dollar, stocks, crypto?

I only trade mini-index. Alongside my trading I am actively developing my own trading robots.

How was it reaching the top 100 of Copa BTG? Was this your first competition or did you already have experience in championships?

I have participated in other competitions before and really enjoy being involved. Seeing my potential — that is what competitions are for.

What do you do outside of trading — work, studies?

I work in the aesthetics field, specifically micropigmentation. And I study AI and trading robots.

Almost a month after Copa BTG — what has changed in your life?

I keep trading and growing my knowledge. I want to understand markets beyond Brazil and expand my field of work.

Did Copa BTG influence your trading results after it ended?

It did not influence my results because I was already making money before. But it inspired me to want to win another competition.

Did you make any interesting connections at Copa BTG that impacted you?

Yes, I met a major investment analyst from Brazil at the Copa. Through him I have been making good contacts.

Are you thinking about joining another tournament?

I am thinking about participating in others.

If you could go back to the start of Copa BTG — what would you do differently?

I would be more analytical with my entries to actually win the prize.

After Copa BTG, did you receive any partnership or collaboration proposals?

I did not receive any.
