Left Microsoft to day-trade the mini-index — built one of Brazil's biggest copy-trade audiences inside Empiricus on the way.
André Machado spent his first career inside Microsoft as an executive, then walked out to trade Brazilian futures full-time. Twenty-two years later he is one of the most identifiable retail-trading personalities in the country: the YouTube channel runs under "Ogro de Wall Street", the X handle the same, and the broader project around it is "Projeto Os 10%" — branded around the framing that only ten percent of retail futures traders make money over time. ANBIMA named him Top Trader in 2022; iBEST put him at Top-20 Investment in 2023; B3 has used him as a teaching face for six years.
The business behind the brand is education plus product: roughly ten thousand alumni through his courses, plus a copy-trading system launched in partnership with Empiricus targeting roughly R$2,000 a day of generated return.
