Patrick Nill

Nill has come closer than any other trader since the early 2010s to owning a single division of the championship. From 2021 onward he placed second in the standard Forex Championship four years in a row (2021, 2022, 2023, 2025) and first in the Global Cup Forex format twice (2021-22 and 2022-23 cycles). He has not yet won the standard annual Forex title, but the eight-cycle podium streak is unprecedented in the championship's forex era. His best single-period results are 245.7% in the 2022 standard cycle and 219.1% in the 2022-23 Global Cup cycle.

Methodologically, Nill trades a rules-based order flow and volume profile approach that he himself brands as systematic trading, executed by a human at the screen rather than by algorithms. That places him between the algorithmic cohorts of the modern championship (Serafini, Ventre) and pure discretionary intraday styles: the rules are fixed, the execution is his. A German national based in Paphos, Cyprus, he trains private clients through the World Class Edge platform, partners with Trade The Traders, and has built a German-language YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn presence (15,000+ followers) that translates the WCTC track record into commercial flow for the mentorship business.

He remains active and is one of the most reachable modern WCTC competitors: he posts regularly, responds on social channels, and his 2025 runner-up finish keeps him in the current standings conversation. For trading-tournaments.com his profile matters because the podium consistency through 2025 makes him the defining active forex name of the modern championship, the counterpart to the systematic futures profiles like Seibert, Serafini and Magala.
