Before he was the 2nd-place name on the 2026 USIC Q1 Stock Division audit, Tom Doub was a clinical psychologist on the faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The career arc from research-academic psychology to top-tier equities discretionary trading is the kind of biography USIC's allocator-ladder positioning was built to surface — a verifiable real-money track record built outside the conventional finance pipeline. Q1 2026: +190.5% on the audited account, behind Jimmy Li's +396.6% and ahead of Heather Qi's +186%.

He runs Arcadia Analytics out of Tennessee as the entity associated with the audit. The Ph.D. and prior academic-medicine background put him in a category of USIC leaderboard names — alongside Tito Adhikary (Harvard / Dana-Farber cancer research) and Heather Qi (Cornell CS) — where a hard-science research methodology meets discretionary equities trading. The 2026 Q1 Stock Division leaders alone include three Ph.D.-holders, which is structurally unusual for a contest of 647 entrants.

No surfaced personal X / LinkedIn under his name. Arcadia Analytics is the entity name of record on the audit but its website has not been located publicly. Outreach routes through USIC's organizer channel or through Vanderbilt alumni channels.
