Hài Nguyễn Xuân

🇻🇳Vietnam· Ha Noi

As long as capital remains, opportunities exist.

Hài Nguyễn Xuân, known as Xuanhaimmoer, has been a fixture in crypto analysis since 2018, when he was named one of Bitcoin.com's Top 8 Most Popular Cryptocurrency Traders. A Top Author on TradingView for over 8 years, he built his reputation on cycle theory and Elliott Wave analysis, reading crowd psychology through the lens of the Fibonacci golden ratio to time long-term market phases.

After stepping back from the public eye to focus on institutional clients and long-term investors, he now splits his time between personal trading, advisory work for private funds, and rebuilding his own community. His approach centers on risk management above all: as long as capital survives, opportunities remain.

Based in Vietnam, he's currently open to advisory and executive roles with investment funds, as well as promotional partnerships to support his community-building efforts.

Interview

How did you first get into trading?

Finance and technology have consistently produced the highest number of billionaires; I believed this early on and decided to pursue a career in finance as soon as possible. Cryptocurrency represents a rare, once-in-a-generation opportunity to rapidly improve one's financial standing, albeit with significant risks that must be managed. Consequently, I focus on fully leveraging the advantages it offers.

What made your Elliott Wave and cycle analysis approach click for you specifically?

I am passionate about numbers and the logic they embody, much like the Fibonacci golden ratio. Elliott Wave theory holds the key to understanding psychological patterns over time; crowd psychology is instinctive and inherently resistant to change. My research centers on cycle theory, which derives highly accurate constants from these immutable patterns. This approach also suits long-term investment, it is less demanding than short-term trading and offers greater accuracy.

You went quiet for a while after being one of the most visible names in crypto analysis. What happened?

Cyclical investing is a challenging strategy unsuitable for the masses, it demands deep understanding, persistence, and resilience. I focus primarily on institutional clients and a select group of investors whose mindset aligns with this approach.

What are you actually spending your time on these days?

Currently, I engage in personal trading while providing advisory services to private funds and a number of long-term investors.

How are you monetizing your trading and analysis right now?

My focus is on risk management, based on the principle that as long as capital remains, opportunities exist. In a high-risk market, effective risk management paves the way for long-term profitability. I employ classical models and liquidity analysis for short-term trading, while relying on Elliott Wave and cycle theories for the long term.

What's your read on the current Bitcoin cycle?

Based on the weekly RSI cycle, it appears we are about 80% of the way through the current phase. The downtrend cycle could conclude between October and November of this year. Allocating capital during the fourth quarter would therefore be both a safe and optimal choice.

Would you ever consider competing in a trading tournament yourself?

Yes, I am interested in this. It is a platform that creates numerous opportunities and experiences.

Are you managing money for others, or purely trading your own capital?

I do both. Managing capital for clients compels me to be more cautious and places a greater emphasis on risk management.

What are you actively looking for right now?

I am currently rebuilding my own community after a long hiatus. I am open to advisory and executive roles with investment funds, and I am looking for promotional partners to support my community-building efforts.

Any plans to travel or relocate, or are you settled in Vietnam for the long run?

I love my country and always want to be close to my family; however, I am also open to traveling or gaining experiences elsewhere as part of a new role.
